Blessed Straight
1 Corinthians 13:1-2
‘Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing’.
MEET THE FOUNDER
ALDRIC HORTON
Aldric is a Veteran of the Air Force & Career Professional in Risk Management/Safety & Wellness, established ‘Blessed Straight’ in 2013 to help others in the community, particularly the homeless. Aldric’s care and concern for others are a by-product of his humble Christian beliefs ingrained in him by his Mother and Dad and specifically his Grandmother who was a pillar in the Community by ensuring everyone that she could assist, was helped.

After serving the community for many years by providing sleeping bags, meals and monetary aid to the homeless on a part-time basis, and now being semi-retired, its time to bring “Blessed Straight” ‘A Christian Academy For The Homeless’ families and individuals to fruition.
The Academy
The brick and mortar Academy will consist of a Bible-based curriculum with reading and spelling comprehension, math, music appreciation, chess, wellness and fitness.
We provide assistance for single individuals, families, the less fortunate, and the homeless in a co-ed environment with mental health evaluations, hygiene improvement, and social and community awareness.
